C-Vision - Now this really is a Dive Control Station!
A combined Two Diver Underwater Video and Communications System incorporating an inbuilt recording system in one small, portable rugged case.

  • Powers & records 2 underwater video cameras
  • Integrated 2 diver communications
  • 30 hours recording time of video and audio
  • High brightness robust screen with wide angle viewing
  • Designed for harsh environments
  • Umbilical and power plugs connect in at an angle to reduce cable interference

C-Vision is a superbly engineered, dual function video and communications system for both the inshore or portable offshore diving market. The system allows up to two divers to have both their video cameras and voice communications monitored and recorded in a lightweight and easy to operate unit.

The concept removes the clutter and propagation of separate video, communications and recording systems often found on dive sites. The video and communications equipment is designed to operate with the C-Tecnics latest low light, high resolution colour camera (model-CT 3008) and LED Lamp (model CT 4003).

The cameras, lamps, helmet and/or hand held bracketry, spares, etc are supplied in a matching waterproof rugged case.

Other camera inputs from ROV’s, crane operations on worksites, etc can also be fed into the optional split-screen video for viewing by the diving supervisor.

Video System
A 15.4” wide screen offers excellent and clear viewing of underwater operations. It can be run in full-screen mode or accommodate a second video camera from another diver, ROV or remote location (a second camera and umbilical can be requested at time of ordering). The screen is a high quality industrial grade unit with high brightness and wide viewing angles.

C-Vision also offers up to 30 hours of continuous inbuilt recording of all of the data. A computer within the unit permits multiple data outlets will satisfy the most dedicated computer expert permitting download of the dive immediately, or live viewing, via USB2, eSATA, Firewire or LAN outputs. An optional ruggedized digital storage drive can be used as a further recording extension or to download and transfer all information.

An inbuilt keyboard is used for on-site data input of diving position, diving conditions, diver details and other useful information, with time, elapse time, etc, generated automatically. Additionally readings from optional sensors such as GPS, depth, CP, etc can also be entered and displayed/recorded.

The system is supplied with a 100m composite umbilical, camera, lamps, and helmet or hand held bracketry and laser scaler.

Comms System
A handheld ‘push to talk’ microphone is supplied with the system. An optional headset can be supplied to assist communication in a noisy environment. The electronics in C-Vision are based on the same electronics from the ground-breaking C-phone with opto-isolation ensuring no interference and degradation in the quality of the audio signal.

The system is mains powered (90-264 volts a.c. auto select) with all underwater elected outputs reduced to low voltage in accordance with AODC/IMCA D035, no longer will the Supervisor be frustrated by ‘someone’ forgetting to re-charge the diverphone, as C-Vision has an inbuilt auto charger for use in the event of mains failure.

The system is marinised in the true C-Tecnics tradition which makes many of their systems the preferred choice of Navies and Diving contractors worldwide.

CT 3008
• Underwater high resolution (540 lines), low light sensitive (0.02 lux f1.2) colour camera fi tted with a 2.6 mm auto iris lens with a hard anodised aluminium housing rated to 1000 meters water depth.

The CT 3008 is an extremely compact high quality colour camera which features an excellent distortion free rectilinear fi xed focus, auto iris, wide angle lens. The camera is equally suitable for diver helmet mounting, hand held and ROV mounted inspection work. The low light sensitivity coupled with such high resolution and exceptionally wide but geometrically accurate pictures combine to make an extremely versatile tool from close inspection work through to general observation tasks.

CT 4003
• 24 volt LED underwater light optimised for video use and fi tted with a frosted light diffuser with a hard anodised aluminium housing rated to 1000 meters water depth.

The CT 4003 is one of the latest LED underwater lamps projects a soft wide angled white light, therefore producing an even illumination to adequately cover the widest angle of view for all C-Tecnics cameras. The CT4003 light is suitable for general underwater illumination including ROVs, diver’s helmet and handheld cameras. The light can also be supplied with a clamped acrylic v-block and bracket for attachment to dive helmets and masks.
